Hasenbach challenge, end May.

End May, and time to show the Hasenbach challenge.
The anchor has a lot of small details,  and its not easy to get them all together at the correct place.
It's the same white fabric, but where the paper is still on the backside, it looks whiter.....
This block is 4,5 inch as is. Will be 4 inch in the finished quilt.
Have a nice day.

Hasenbach Challenge, :-)

I did some serious quilting this week.
My winter picture  top in PP technique was finished, and I had "Only" to add the batting and  backing and get it quilted.
It was laying on my guest bed for 2 weeks before I had the courage to start quilting.
As soon as I got started, it was difficult to stop before I was totally finished.
So it was 2 looong days.

And this it what it looks like. I only have to add the binding, and the canal on the backside to be able to hang it an the wall. :-)
I'm soooo happy I didn't ruin it.

The backside picture is taken before I cut the extra backing and batting.

And if you like you can push the Hasenbach button on my blog side, to look what the others have been doing in February.

Have a nice day. :-)

Hasenbach Challenge

End of month, and I can show you the progress I made in January... :-)

Some blocks:

3 inch snow crystal

4 inch crystal, and 6 inch winter house

And this is how it looks so fare.
2 of the sections are joined together,  the left part and the church part.

It's "only" the upper right part that misses some blocks.
Making more of the 3 inch snow crystal as the one in the first picture.
Don't miss to look at the others that's working with this challenge as well.

Have a wonderful weekend. :-)
