Status for Hasenbach PP

Hello everybody.

As you know I joined this Challenge after the summer vacation, and the plan was to finish by end December 2013.
AS a plan is just that, I did Not manage to fulfill it, but I'm coming there, hopefully sooner then later... :-D

This is how it looks like today, and I have 1 big block with a house to finish, and some small blocks to get it all together.

And of course, since Katrin with the blog  http://cattinkakw.blogspot.se/ is such a superb cheer-leader, I also took on the 2014 challenge.
Waiting to see what that will bring me.... oooppps, it my be difficult!!

Have a wonderful sewing New year all of you.

Hugs and regards from Ingrid

Hasenbach challenge

The November block of the challenge is finished.
This time I did the church. ;-)
On the picture I sent Katrin for her blog on Saturday I only had made the church, but now I also added the diamonds on the right side and the small 1 inch pieces at the bottom.
Had too much to do in the weekend, so this post is really 2 days late, but I hope you will forgive me...

...And I put in 2 birds in the birdfeeder block from earlier.

Have a nice week, and hope you are "in Route" for Christmas.

End of month, and Hasenbach Challenge

Hello again

I have been sewing and ripping seems and been angry with myself for not washing this dark blue fabric before I started. When using the iron, the white star in the middle turned blue....
So I moved the paper, washed the blocks, and they now look like this..
They turned out ok, so I will use them after all.

And there are some more of this stars, in other fabrics as well.

This pots was in the last presentation as well, but I did not take another picture, so you have to excuse me. :-)

This two are new....

And I also did some more work with this house, put on some decoration along the windows, and a flowerpot outside.
I have been looking at the different possibilities of arranging the blocks together, and found that I think I will do it with small squares at the side.
It will then look like this.
Have purchased fabric to make the church as well, so that's the next block on my agenda.
Hope you all enjoy the Challenge, and that you are making more progress then me...

Have a nice week, and sew in your own time schedule. ( Some months are buzzier then others)

                                           :-)

Hasenbach Challenge, last day of the month :-)

Today it's the last day of the month, again.
I can't understand where all the 30 days went....
We have been away for a week, and I will show you later where we went. I can tell you we drove on the left hand side of the road, and that there were a lot of whisky distilleries, :-)

Anyway, I have done a lot of sewing as well. On Thursday I will present one item I made, all I can tell you is that's about the 60is.... and batik. That was a lot of fun...... Don't miss that post...!!!

And I have been knitting socks, and done a lot of embroidery..... >>>>
and been for 1 whole day at a Hockey arena in Trelleborg, watching one of the grandchildren playing a tournament. His team won the cup, and that was great fun as well. :-)

AND THEN I made just some small blocks of PP. The time did not allow any more, but there will be more end October.  OK?
Hope you are not disappointed. PP is more fun the I expected, but it takes time.
So this is my only achievement this month:

Have a nice day, and enjoy the other participants in this challenge as well.
You find the link with picture on the side of the blog. Can't miss it. :-)

Hasenbach Challenge 2013

The last day of August is here, and it's time to publish what we have managed this month.

I joined this challenge very late, in August as a fact, but I made 2 blocks. :-)

The snow-covered house, and the Birdfeeder.
I have to say that I made a mistake with the Birdfeeder, and discovered it too late.
One of the pieces had a wrong color on the pattern, and I did not check out the picture of the block before I sewed it..... :-(
I will not rip it, so I need to come up with a good idea to cover it up later.....

The House:

and the Birdfeeder:

Both blocks are 8x8 inch.

I will also add some applications of flowerpots and so on later.

Visit this blog and you will se the others also participating in this challenge. :-)

I wish you all a creative and pleasant weekend, and hope you are busy with the Challenge.
Until the next time...
regards Ingrid
